How can you guarantee that these gloves are waterproof?

The waterproofness of these gloves was tested for 2 hours in artificial rain of 60L/h/m² (heavy thunderstorm). The 3-layer construction with a membrane in the middle is therefore waterproof. However, to prevent water entering the glove by running down the arm, it's important to put the sleeves of your (waterproof) jacket over the gloves.
