The Van Rysel story begins in the French capital of Flanders, just a few kilometres from the iconic cobbled sectors, including the world's most legendary one-day race. A land of cycling par excellence, where every hill and cobbled road tells stories of epic races and legendary cyclists. Founded in 2019, V┃R is aimed at all cyclists in the world, whatever their level, goal or vision of cycling. 100% passionate, the Van Rysel team embodies and expresses on a daily basis, a spirit of conquest and tenacity. Its approach is guided by product excellence, capable of rising to the greatest challenges.

Aerodynamic control

Founded by former Formula 1 engineers, SWISS SIDE has become a benchmark in cycling aerodynamics. With cutting-edge expertise in CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing, they bring motorsport technology to optimize every watt on the bike. In collaboration with their engineers, Van Rysel developed the RCR-F and XCR, the most aerodynamic bikes ever to come out of their wind tunnel.

Optical accuracy

ZEISS, world leader in optics, designs the lenses of PERF 900 and PERF 900 Light to offer exceptional visual clarity and optimum protection. These top-of-the-range lenses treat glare, are scratch-resistant, water-repellent and oil-repellent.

Aerodynamics & aerospace

Better known for its research into aerospace devices, ONERA has collaborated with Van Rysel on the development of the RCR (aerolight) bicycle. It's a winning partnership that has already seen the RCR win 30 races in 2024.

Decathlon CMA-CGM

VAN RYSEL is proud to be the main partner of the Decathlon CMA-CGM team. This collaboration pushes the boundaries of competitive cycling by providing the RCR PRO, RCR-F PRO, and XCR bikes, as well as the RCR, RCR-F, and XCR helmets, along with the PERF 900 and PERF 900 Light goggles. Unique in the World Tour peloton, VAN RYSEL also supplies all the apparel worn by the riders of Decathlon CMA-CGM. This partnership embodies a commitment to excellence and innovation.

VAN RYSEL Roubaix

A partnership that reflects the deep-rooted history of VAN RYSEL, grounded in the legendary lands of global cycling, between cobblestones and the Flemish hills. VAN RYSEL Roubaix is strongly committed to developing local cycling while making an impact internationally.

Innovation in design aims not only to improve performance, but also to meet a commitment to environmental sustainability. Every year, the R&D teams explore new ways of designing and cutting-edge technologies through conceptual projects. These projects are then used as guides in the creation process of each Van Rysel product.

PNPL 3.0

Innovations in R&D, aerodynamics and materials make Van Rysel bikes lighter and faster. By teaming up with AUTODESK, Van Rysel is revolutionising its design by adopting generative design to create ultra-customised equipment. 3D printed, alternative cycling equipment components to carbon are being explored.

PNPL 4.0

Van Rysel is redefining ultra cycling with the EXP_18K kit. Comprising a bike, a textile kit and shoes, the aim is to create high-performance, comfortable and durable equipment for the EXP18K, an 18,000km race across five continents.
